With the continuous development of the socialist market economy and the continuous deepening of the transformation and reform of state-owned enterprises, it is imperative that the employees of the former state-owned enterprises must emancipate their minds and change their concepts to adapt to the needs of the reform and development situation. Now, the ideological issues of the employees of state-owned enterprises after the transformation are briefly discussed as follows.


As employees of state-owned enterprises after the transformation, we must adapt to the needs of reform and development, treat ourselves in a correct way, and change the original view of employment in state-owned enterprises. In state-owned enterprises, some employees believe that: employees are the masters of the enterprise, and the enterprise is naturally responsible for the birth, pension, illness and death of the employees, and they rely on the enterprise for everything. There are also employees who believe that socialism will not let people starve to death anyway, and state-owned enterprises will always their “masters” a bite of food, so they develop serious dependent thinking of “waiting, relying, and asking”. The reflections include they are unwilling to do more work, but want to take more money; they do not love and devote to their jobs, but refuse to transfer or lay off the post; they cannot earn big money, and ignore small money; they hope to improve their current situations through reforms, but do not want the reform impacts various vested interests; they want to share the benefits of reform, but are also afraid of taking the risks brought about by reform, and still keep the traditional practices. Regarding the criteria for job selection, they are self-centered, and often ignore the objective reality and hold too high expectations. The specific manifestations are as follows: First, better treatment, higher salary and bonus, better life welfare; second, lower labor intensity, cleaner working environment; third, lower job responsibilities, shorter working hours, and closer to home, etc. Of course, people want to choose a more satisfactory job position, this mood is completely understandable. However, if you ignore your own actual conditions and employment needs, and blindly emphasize the job selection criteria of “dignity, high salary, light workload, and closer distance to home”, it will be difficult to find a suitable job.


With the social development and the continuous deepening of the reform, we must abandon such wrong thoughts. System transformation is both a challenge and an opportunity. Every employee must change his or her little thoughts in accordance with the changes in the general environment. Give full play to subjective initiative and overcome lazy thoughts. If you want to do a good job, you must be modest and prudent, ask for advice with an open mind, ask your subordinates without feeling shameful, and learn from the strengths of others; adhere to down-to-earth and hard-working spirits, and establish the thoughts of “work more, gain more; work less, gain less; no work, no gain”; think what the enterprise thinks, and be anxious for what the enterprise is anxious about. Work with serious attitude, solidarity and cooperation spirit, strong sense of responsibility, superb professional skills, strong dedication spirit, and peaceful and meticulous state of mind. Only in this way can you give full play to your ingenuity, share the burdens for the enterprise, and do your own job better.
